About

Background

Hi, I’m Jenna! I'm a marketing strategist and community builder based in Vancouver, BC, with roots that stretch from Portland to Los Angeles. My work sits at the intersection of sport, culture, and consumer insight, where I help brands grow by connecting authentically with the communities they serve.

I began my career in social work — an experience that sharpened my ability to listen deeply, understand behavior, and bring out the best in teams. That foundation naturally evolved into marketing, where I’ve spent over a decade driving strategy across endurance sports, fitness tech, and global apparel.

I’ve led community-driven campaigns for companies like the Los Angeles Marathon, Strava, and Zwift, blending hands-on industry knowledge with a sharp understanding of what resonates with consumers. I’ve also worked inside the NBA ecosystem with the Portland Trail Blazers, building integrated brand partnerships that connected global companies to culture-defining moments in sport.

Currently, I help lead global brand strategy for the running category at Lululemon. I translate business objectives into creative marketing opportunities by grounding campaigns in cultural relevance, market trends, and a strong understanding of the mindset of the runner. My work shapes how the brand brings running to life across regions, product, and consumer touchpoints — helping Lululemon show up with credibility and impact in the performance space.

A lifelong athlete (basketball was my first love), I came to running later in life and ended up building a career around it. I’ve also modeled for leading sportswear brands including Nike, New Balance, ASICS, Lululemon, Tracksmith, and Arc’teryx, bringing an authentic athlete’s lens to campaigns that aim to inspire and connect.

Above all, I believe in the power of sport, culture, and strategic thinking to drive both business growth and positive impact for individuals.

I'm especially passionate about inclusive brand building, community-first marketing, and the evolving role of culture and tech in shaping the future of sport. I'm always open to creative partnerships, collaborative projects, and conversations that move the industry forward. Let's connect!

Mentorship

Mentorship has been a meaningful throughline in both my personal and professional life. I believe in the power of encouragement, representation, and shared experience to help unlock potential, especially for women, athletes, and future leaders.

In the summer of 2018, I was selected by Nike Los Angeles to serve as a mentor for the Nike Women Marathon Project, a community initiative supporting 35 first-time marathoners — many of whom were also first-time runners. It was an incredibly rewarding experience to help guide them through their training journey, and even more inspiring to see how they continued to support other women in sport, in their communities, and in their careers.

In 2020, in response to the impact of the global pandemic on education and opportunity, I mentored through Minds Matter LA, a nonprofit that connects high-achieving students from low-income backgrounds with mentorship and college preparation resources. I had the privilege of spending Saturdays supporting a smart, driven high school student in Los Angeles — learning from her just as much as she learned from me.

Mentorship is one of the most rewarding ways I give back and a meaningful way I practice leadership.

Passions

Outside of work, I’m a marathoner and trail runner who loves exploring new routes and pushing limits. I stay connected to community through volunteering, especially with youth programs, and enjoy running with local run clubs.

When I’m not on the trails or the track, you can usually find me hunting down the best local coffee shops, sneaking in a good nap, cheering on the Portland Trail Blazers, catching up with friends and family, or indulging in way too many Haribos and sweet treats.

Above all, raising my son is one of the most rewarding parts of my life and inspires me daily to be curious, resilient, and present.
